Dates: Friday July 26, Saturday July 27, Sunday July 28, 2024
Venue: Lalotalie River Retreat, Samoa
Theme: “Step 12”
Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
Programme:
Friday July 26
8-9 Registration
9-9:30 Opening of round up, introductions, morning tea
10-11-30 Podium speaker meeting, Topic “step 12”
12-1 Lunch
1-1-30 Guest speaker, Tui talk on conservation work
2-4 Activities, waterfall hike, giant clams, paopao paddling around mangroves
6-9 Meet for dinner at Return to Paradise (you will be responsible for your meal cost)
Late AA meeting for those interested, after dinner
Early night as we have an early morning trip to Manono island
Saturday July 27
“Manono Island”
6 am Light breakfast at Lalotalie
6:30 Depart for boat
7 -7.30 Boat ride
Tour guide will take us around the island and will have a workshop on “AA tradition” on the beach, followed by lunch and a time on the beach to swim
Leave island around 3 pm as we need to be ready for dinner and show at Coconut resort 6pm-9pn AA meeting at beach after show (you will also be responsible for your dinner costs)
Sunday July 28
7am breakfast at Lalotalie
8-10 church in village for those who are interested
11-2 Toonai umu lunch
2-3 Roundup summary and selection of committee for 2025 round up, close of round up and farewell
Costs: Roundup tickets: $500 Tala
This includes:
The venue meals (except dinner at Return to Paradise and Coconut)
Day trip to Manono island
Tea, coffee, Juice, Niu at venue
Accommodation:
Lalotalie offers Samoa fale style accommodation.
Cost -$60 Tala per person per night. We have 6 fales that can accommodate 2 to 4 people (mattress, sheets, mosquito nets). There are also hotels close by, like Return to Paradise, Levasa , Coconut and others.
